On the {Right} Track

It was Sunday morning. The snow has stooped . Shades of blue started appearing in the sky. Too early to go anywhere so hubby and I walked along a trail leading to this train track .... so sturdy and strong amidst the soft and mushy snow .... just like the man beside me .... my strength in those times that I am emotionally and physically fragile....

Thank you Lord .... everyday is a blessing!

After the {Snow} Storm

After hiding for quite sometime, the sun finally decided to shine last Saturday so hubby and I seized the day!   We hopped in the car and drove without a specific place to go. We went east and voila ... blue skies and fresh snow providing the perfect background to the beauty of the naked winter trees!

As the sun set, our eyes feasted on a different stoke of colors. If midday was magical and bright, the late afternoon was mysterious and enchanting!

Truly, when I stopped hating winter, I saw the beauty of it.

we (HEART} nature : Greenwood Conservation Park

After a busy month of work-related traveling, I finally got my groove back and return to routine at home sweet home! I don't know about you but no matter how beautiful the places I've seen in the last couple of months, there's nothing beats the security and comfort of our home - our entire neighborhood, if I may say.

Speaking of neighborhood, a visit to a local park this afternoon reminded us again why we chose to live in this part of town. A true slice of heaven on earth....

Five kilometers north of our home is Greenwood Conservation Park. - visited by locals for its hiking trails in the summer and trout fishing during springtime. Personally, hubby and I love this place during the fall when Greenwood turns bright with the hues of autumn!

The beauty of autumn is nature's way of saying "until next time" then it falls into deep slumber ....
