Easy as 1...2...3

How easy and fun can this be? A pattern + an image + a sentiment challenge from CAS-ual Fridays - a fool-proof formula  I can always go to whenever I have limited time to design a card.

I used a boarder punch to make the narrow loop design and attached it to a colored stock card to create a pattern then stamped a tree on the white space and finally added the sentiment on the colored card stock.

Voila! Another CAS card for any occasion!

A Retro Thanks

I can't believe it's Sunday already. It seems only yesterday when we were packing for a four-day-vacation and now we are loading the washing machine with the laundry from our vacation!

I'll  tell you more about the fun trip we had on another post. Today I just want to share this Thank You card I did for my hubby for making our vacation a memorable one, us usual ....

The colors are inspired by THE PLAY DATE CAFE. I matched the retro colors with this retro-designed stamp from Inkadinkado.

Thank you dear. Can't wait for our next adventure!

Cheers!

Card Challenge with a Twist!

Lisa Spangler is taking card challenge to new heights! I am so intimidated by Photoshop but Lisa is generously sharing her knowledge through her tutorial on how to maximize Photoshop's features and elements to enhance your photos. The twist is, you have to apply the tutorial on your photographed cards! A true win-win challenge, don't you think?

Here's the BEFORE photo of the card I just did....

The lighting is not perfect, as Lisa puts it ... it's grey and blah! Applying the "level technique" from her tutorial, here's the AFTER photo ...

Can you spot the difference?

Thanks Lisa, you are amazing!

Cheers,
