Bite and Nibbles @ Perfect Chinese Restaurant

Yum Cha {literally means "drinking tea"} is anything but just drinking tea. This Cantonese culinary art which started from Guangdong Province in China is an occasion to be with family and friends while sharing a wide range of sweet and savory bite-size foods {like dim sum} while sipping tea. Yes, it could be the counterpart of British afternoon tea but Yum Cha is usually served from 8 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon. Hubby and I enjoy Yum Cha at least one weekend a month and the Perfect Chinese restaurant is one of our go to places.

If you are planning to go on a weekend, plan to be there early {before 10:30 AM} otherwise, prepare to wait in line. The restaurant's secrets are simple : delicious food and cheap price! Like in Hong Kong, the foods at Perfect Restaurant are served in carts that go around the restaurant. The dim sums are  normally served as three or four pieces in one dish. Be sure to get different varieties so you can sample a number of tasty dishes. Of course, tea will complement this wonderful gustatory experience.
