Home for Christmas {Christmas Home Tour 2015}

HOME is where LOVE resides, MEMORIES are created, FRIENDS always belong
and CHRISTMAS magic never ends!

It's the most wonderful time of the year and I am so happy to join bloggers from all corners of the world to an on-line Christmas Home Tour. My hubby and I put these decorations together and we hope you will find some inspirations along the way. So grab a cup of hot cocoa, sit back {warning : there are lots of photos}, relax and welcome to Birdsong .....

Every year, we start decorating as early as  November 1st and always, our "Belen" {Tagalog word for Nativity Scene} is the first one taken down from the attic and arranged on a table in the dinning room. I can't imagine not doing the Nativity scene ahead of other decorations in the house, after all Christ's birth is the reason for the celebration.

Before we bought this home a year and a half ago, it was called the Roosters' Inn. As the name implies, it was a vegan bed and breakfast and the front parlour was where guests were welcomed and checked in. Since then, we renamed the house The Birdsong but still we welcome friends and family in this area ... Please come in.

The dining room which is overlooking the backyard and farmlands is now decorated with Woodland-themed centerpiece and tablescape. You can find the step-by-step DIY pine cone table napkin rings here in my previous post.

In our kitchen, the breakfast table is adorned with white china, tea pot, fresh miniature frost pine punctuated by red and white candy cane.

Adjacent to the kitchen is our tea lounge where country Christmas decorations made this room cozier than it normally is. This is where hubby and I hang out after dinner wrapped in flannel blankets together with our little princess cat Muning!

Thank you for dropping by. From our home to yours we wish you a very Merry Christmas! May your hears be filled with joy, love, hope and peace!

    1. Thanks for dropping by Lori! Your kind words made my day. How I wish we can have tea together either here at home or in beautiful farmhouse. I am following your post on introducing new chickens into the existing flock. Our new chickens are arriving in Feb and I hope there will be "peace and harmony" in the coup :-) Have a merry Christmas!
